Decreasing CPCs by 15% whilst Increasing Revenue by 31%
Fanatics International are the world’s largest online sporting goods retailer. Along with selling products through their own websites, Fanatics.com and Kitbag.com, they also own and operate official licensed online stores for brands like Real Madrid, Manchester United, NFL and the NBA.
With over 25 brands, Fanatics International were looking to drive more revenue, without compromising on their ROI. However, in an increasingly competitive Google Shopping landscape, this is easier said than done.
Using our proprietary CSS, BuyBye, in combination with our award-winning Google Shopping technology we were able to offer an unrivalled approach to delivering Google Shopping success in a heavily saturated market.
BuyBye gives us access to the Google Shopping auction without having to pay the premium CPCs associated with traditional Google Shopping campaigns. This gives us significant advantage over the rest of the market, and means Fanatics budgets are able to go further.
Furthermore, our award-winning Shopping technology enables us to manage product groups at an item level and push products based on search terms, ensuring that only the most relevant products are shown to the user.
Due to our Google Shopping strategy, Fanatics saw a 59% increase in impressions and a 52% increase in site traffic, when comparing Q1 2019 to Q1 2018.
We achieved these results, whilst reducing CPCs by 15%, and driving a 31% uplift in revenue. And we did this without compromising on the ROAS, which increased marginally by 1%.
